I haven't obviously blogged for a few months now.  (December was my last entry).  I have missed the quickness of sharing with my family and friends through this blog and well here I am.  

Recently (as in last month) I got my first Children's book published.  WHAT?? I know right.

This was truly a long process but totally worth the wait and hard work.  Most of you know that this has been a dream of mine for quite some time.  God gave me the idea for this amazing story and then provided me an illustrator.  Finding a publisher was no easy task.

This has been such an amazing experience and I am hoping to be able to work on something else soon.  Right now I need to focus on what God's direction is with this first book.  I want to encourage kids and I also want to develop myself as a writer/author.  It feels weird typing that!

It's such an honor and joy for me to join in on these fun and amazing Children's Book events.  I am more excited about being a part of the Children's Book Festival this year especially since a few years ago I only dreamed of being a part of it.  I get to be a part of it this year!  All Glory to God for that.
